Case study: ProFire Safety & Training


ProFire is a new company, created by an existing client, which supports customers nationally and internationally to deliver expert training and compliance services, with an emphasis on forward-thinking and innovation.

Its areas of expertise include fire service training, safety and compliance and workplace training including first aid and mental health.

ProFire’s ethos is to challenge the market’s prevailing thinking with innovation and technology, enhancing their customers’ safety and compliance levels, and improving the customer experience.


To represent ProFire’s USPs, we developed a brand identity for the new business which not only demonstrated their innovative approach, but which was also synonymous with their industry.

We utilised the symbol of an eagle flying high to reinforce notions of ‘dominance’ over competitors, as well as agility and strength. This is paired with a modern and bold typeface with colours of gold, silver and burnt orange to reflect the hallmark standard of fire safety the brand stands by.


Following a web scoping workshop with ProFire where objectives for the site were identified and interrogated, we developed a web solution which outwardly reflected the values of the company whilst providing optimum functionality for the client to gather data about their audience and continually improve the customer experience.

In order to future-proof the website for the evolving needs of the business, we built in Ecommerce functionality to enable ProFire to sell their courses and products online.

Our work with dodio couldn’t have been better timed. The impact of Covid-19 on our business is potentially catastrophic, so having a new website with Ecommerce functionality has given us the agility to move more of our business online and to continue to trade throughout this period of uncertainty.
